1. How to
participate/help in the likhita kaimkaryam?
The likhita kaimkarya ghoshti is a team of volunteer
devotees who are working professionals in their chosen fields and
who have teamed together for the sole purpose of nishkamya kaimkaryam
to BhagavAn and His devotees by assisting SrI V.Sadagopan Swami in
his untiring efforts to bring to light the treasure of poorvAchArya
granthams and SrI
sookthis to all devotees.
Participation in this kaimkaryam is on voluntary basis and quite
welcome. If a devotee is skilled in drawing, Flash and Multimedia
technologies, Web Design, Sound editing, Microsoft Publisher application
or well-versed in writing and editing Sanskrit/Tamil text, you
can send a brief bio-data indicating your line of interest and
area of expertise to webmaster@srihayagrivan.org All
that we require of the volunteer is a whole hearted commitment
of time and energy towards the kaimkaryam as a service to BhagavAn
and AchAryan. While sending the bio-data please indicate the place
of your current residence as well as the length of free time that
you can devote towards the kaimkaryam (i.e) whether two hours a
day, only weekends etc.
Apart from this, you can also contribute photos (with good resolution
of atleast 300 dpi) of divya dampathis, divya desams, utsavams
etc to webmaster@srihayagrivan.org Please
note that these photos will be for public sharing and will be royalty-free.
Your contributions will be duly acknowledged and credits given
in the respective eBooks where ever they are used. Also if you
have any out-of-print, old, SrIVaishNava granthams or stotra paatams
that you are willing to share for free with the aastikaas, you
can write to the webmaster about the title and content of these
books and a decision can be made whether to include the title or
not.
If you cannot spare the time, there is another way that you
can still participate in the kaimkaryam. You can sponsor any one
of the Ebooks website: sundarasimham.org. ahobilavalli.org or srihayagrivan.org. Since
these are non-profit, non-commercial websites, we cannot run any
advertisements but the sponsors will be acknowledged in the individual
websites. If you are interested in this option please write
to webmaster@srihayagrivan.org.

2. Is there
a download fee for the eBooks?
The eBooks are for FREE
distribution and hence
can be downloaded and saved to your local drives without any fee. If
you would still like to make a monetary contribution, you can choose
one of the options available at the following website and
make the payment. The proceeds will directly go to Sri
Ahobila Matam.

3. How to read the eBooks?
The
eBooks are PDF documents. They can be read by using Adobe
Acrobat Reader, which is a FREE downloadable software available at

4. What fonts are used for Tamil and
Sanskrit verses?
Mylai-SrI (True Type) and Latha (Unicode) fonts
are used for Tamil texts. Mylai-SrI can be downloaded from
: http://www.indiadirect.com/fonts/index.html.
Latha font comes default with all Windows based computers.
Sanskrit
99 (True Type) font is used for Sanskrit texts. This
font can be downloaded from: http://www.omkarananda-ashram.org/Sanskrit/itranslator99.htm.
NOTE: You
do NOT have to download these fonts to be able to read the PDF version
of eBooks as these come with embedded fonts.

5. How to view the Multimedia Presentation?
Multimedia
presentations so far released in the eBooks series have been Powerpoint
Slides. You must have Powerpoint Viewer to
see them.

6. Are there DVD/CD versions of the
eBooks available?
We are planning to release DVD/CD of the archives
of Sundarasimham and Ahobilavalli series of eBooks shortly. The
CDs will be available for purchase through the nadhopasana media
archives. Aastikaas
can purchase these CDs and treasure the eBooks for posterity. The
contributions for the purchase will be utilized towards divya desa
kaimkaryams.

SrI Soundararajan Desikan of Thiruvaheendrapuram
has brought out a beautiful book "Kadamba Mala" full of
colorful pictures of SrI HayagrIvan with many important Stotrams
and articles about PerumAl and Swami Desikan included. It is
available for purchase at West Mambalam, Chennai. Please contact
